Chart notes
BEAR CLAW was in tight after the break, advanced inside heading into the turn, came out near the quarter pole, moved out further turning for home and bumped with a rival a couple times about the three-sixteenths then again near the furlong marker whilst dueling, prevailed. AMERICAN SOLO was bumped after the break, stalked from outside, advanced five wide on the turn, was bumped several times in upper stretch, dueled and missed. I AM THE JUAN bobbled outwardly at the break, bumped a foe lightly early, was mid-pack three wide through the turn, angled out in upper stretch and ran on. GEEBEESBIGBOY was forced out and into a foe after the break, shifted in settling last but one, went three wide on the turn, improved position inside rivals. RIGHT ON TIME broke outwardly, dueled inside a rival but in the two path, weakened. B R KIDD ROCK chased four wide, came up empty. STYLE BENDER broke in the air, trailed four to five wide through the turn and failed to rally. GO FOR THE LAUGH dueled outside three wide and came up empty. WRECKING STORM steadied and altered in at the start, saved ground but was not a threat. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS' INQUIRY INTO THE STRETCH, BEAR CLAW WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM FIRST AND PLACED SECOND BEHIND AMERICAN SOLO FOR INTERFERENCE.
