Chart notes
CHATTALOT set a clear pace via around the turn, shifted a bit outwardly as TEJANO TWIST produced a challenge, and held firmly through the final furlong. TEJANO TWIST tracked three wide around the turn, ranged up turning for home to take aim on a clear CHATTALOT in upper stretch, then chased that foe home well, but was kept at bay. HOIST THE GOLD stalked along the inside, altered course four wide at the three sixteenths pole, but failed to keep pace in the process, then kept on to reach show in the late stages. HIGHER STANDARD stalked the clear leader from the outside while not providing early pressure, then was outkicked by an outer bidding foe entering the lane, and tired approaching midstrech. BLUE KENTUCKY trailed throughout.
