Chart notes
NEVER COMPROMISE stalked the earlier pace then closed to the front two deep approaching the quarter pole, came under pressure midway on the far turn, dueled clear in the upper stretch and was kept alert to widen the final sixteenth. BLACK STEEL took the lead leaving the thirteen sixteenths pole and angled to the inside to rate the pace, came under pressure leaving the three eighths, was caught at the rail approaching the quarter and relented the final sixteenth. MEGA MILLIONS saved ground off the pace on the opening turn, picked up the chase at the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn in the three path and showed little further. WIDGET FACTORY rated just off the pace three wide the first turn, gave chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole but flattened at the rail on the far turn. POPPY'S TWO STEP raced off the rail on the first turn and showed little response down the backstretch. FRATHOUSE MUSIC raced outside leaving the first turn and never factored. This race was hand timed.
