Chart notes
COLONEL MIKE was never far back, advanced to the turn, angled out, bid six wide, closed willingly, got up late and won going away. HAMMERING LEMON vied inside to the turn, drew clear, led to deep stretch and was outclosed to finish second best. ABANDONED was void of early speed, went seven wide entering the stretch and finished well. DON WITH THE WIND vied between horses, dropped back along the backstretch and had nothing left for drive. BLAME THE DEVIL moved up to challenge three across, dropped back entering the stretch and faded through the stretch. NOT NECESSARILY carried out badly on the first, raced in the back, went widest in the drive and failed to contend. KING OF WISHES bore out badly on the first turn, raced in the back, was eased in the stretch and walked off. Hand timed.
