Chart notes
A SMILE A DAY quickly set the pace and was well handled on the front end, led throughout and remained clear late under firm handling. TICKETY BOO settled early, rallied in the stretch on the inside and was second best. STORMY EMPIRE raced between horses early, angled out in the stretch and had a mild bid. GIFT FROM MOM allowed to settle, failed to menace. SWEET BELEN had brief foot, and was through early. OPULENT chased the winner until the stretch, gave way and lost irons near the wire.
