Chart notes
MAKE IT IN NY bumped with foes at the start, was urged along off the pace, chased inside to the two path on the turn, rallied to the lead in upper stretch, drew away under a drive to the sixteenth-pole then was eased up while much the best. PRINCE OF JOY bumped with a rival at the start, chased the early pace, moved up with six furlongs to run then contested the pace on the inside of two opponents, shook clear leaving the backstretch, remained clear while inside through the turn, turned into the stretch under the crop, lost the advantage to the winner at the three-sixteenths and proved no match while clear for the place. OCEAN DEEP broke in at the start, was urged along off the pace, raced inside to the three path on the turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive and lacked the needed response while best of the rest. BELLAMY DOLCE was void of speed, dropped well behind the rest of the field, saved ground on the turn, moved out in upper stretch and passed tired rivals. COACH BAHE showed early speed then contested the pace on the outside of a duo, dropped back leaving the backstretch, chased in the three path through the turn and tired. FOTIS was hustled from the start then coaxed along off the pace, dropped back with five furlongs to run, went four wide on the turn, drifted inward in upper stretch and failed to respond. FAR AWAY LOOK moved out then was urged along on the outside, dropped back five to six wide on the turn and faltered then was eased in the final furlong but walked off. DONEGAL BAY hit the outside of the gate lightly at the start then bumped with a foe, showed early speed then disputed the pace between horses, came up empty on the turn and retreated then was also eased in the final furlong but walked off. PATTY O'MARC was sent hard from the start, showed speed then chased the pace, started to drop back with five furlongs to run and faltered then was eased in the stretch but also walked off.
