Chart notes
KING NEKIA saved ground off the pace, started a bid toward the seven sixteenths pole and improved position in the three path of the far turn, dug in for the lead mid-stretch and drew clear the final yards. PROTA took the nod past the nine sixteenths pole and rated the pace, came under pressure nearing the five sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn near the rail, was caught mid-stretch and relented late yards. FIRE DOWN BELOW rounded the first turn in the three path, started a bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole, came through the far turn about the three path, swung five wide into the stretch and was along for third late yards. COMMAND THE CAT was brushed leaving the gate and raced at even terms inside through the front stretch, stalked past the nine sixteenths pole and gave chase nearing the three eighths, rounded the far turn at the rail and flattened the final furlong. QUICK ENTRY settled off the rail on the opening turn, picked up the chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn about the three path and showed little further. AWESOME BUZZ settled back off the rail on the first turn then eased outward into the backstretch, showed little response and rounded the far turn in the four and five paths. MUTAKAAMIL rounded the first turn in the four and five paths, gave chase toward the seven sixteenths pole then faded into the far turn. JOHNNY OBVIOUS steadied from tight quarters early then saved ground. HAN SENSE broke outward to make light contact with Command The Cat then rounded the opening turn in the four path, gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole but weakened toward the far turn. This race was hand timed.
