Chart notes
UNTO THEE broke sharply and was sent to the front at the start, showed good early speed while setting fast fractions through the turn, extended the lead into the stretch and drew away in the final stages. EXECUTIVE CHEF was away a bit slowly leaving the break, chased from the rear through the turn, navigated through weakening foes while closing in the drive and was up in time to get the nod for second. HUNTER JOHN stalked the pace from a three wide path along the turn, lost ground into the stretch run, was outkicked in the late stages and just missed for second. YOU KIDDING ME tracked the fast pace from a two wide path, was outrun into the drive and tired in the late going. OBVIOUS chased the pace outside of foes and weakened in the stretch run. WINTER FALCON stalked the early pace while saving ground, lost ground into the stretch run and gave way in the final stages. DIAMOND WILLOW was a bit slow into stride in the early going, lacked speed into the turn and was not a factor.
