Chart notes
HIGH YIELD KITTEN bounded clear after the start, ambled along through an easy opening quarter-mile, widened around the turn and into the stretch well off the inside, stayed on his left lead and was kept busy to the finish. LORD DARNLEY was bottled up behind HIGH YIELD KITTEN up the backstretch, moved out being asked midway on the turn, came four wide into the lane and ran on to be clearly second best. CHROME FINISH was reserved early in some traffic, came four wide off the turn, and was along for the show. SIXTY ONE broke slowly, raced three to four wide on the turn, and made no impact. BEYOND MY DREAMS broke slowly, entered the turn four wide, moved in approaching the stretch and could not gain. AMERICAN MATTERS showed brief speed outside, and was through after a half-mile.
