AMERICAN UNITY stalked close up three wide, bid three wide on the turn, dueled, gained a short lead in upper stretch, then drew clear and held well under urging. IRISH HONOR raced two wide off the pace, moved up four wide nearing the quarter pole, came five wide into the lane and finished well outside. BRILLIANT CHASE raced off the pace, three or four wide, moved up on the turn, came four wide into the lane, rallied between rivals and was outkicked. JOHNNY RITT tracked close up on the inside, made a rail bid nearing the turn, dueled with OUR PHILLY SPECIAL and faded in the final furlong. OUR PHILLY SPECIAL away alertly, set the pace, dueled two wide on the turn, battled to midstretch and faded. PATEGORY ONE stalked between rivals, chased on the turn and tired. EXCURSION chased on the inside, lacked a rally and tired. BIG BAD BUD was outrun.
