Chart notes
MS HIGHSPEED settled at the rear, raced in the three path through the turn, swung eight deep into upper stretch, took aim and rallied past. DANIEL'S GIRL vied outside runners three to four wide, led in upper- to mid-stretch but was outfinished. SHADOW JUMPER was bumped at the break, tracked mid-pack along the rail or just off, came out at the furlong marker and secured show honors. BROADWAY ROMANCE vied two to three wide between runners from the five-eighths to the three-eighths, angled out abruptly at the three-sixteenths and ran on. MORATTA was forced in after the break, switched out going two wide into the turn moving out five deep midway on that bend, was bumped in upper stretch and in tight. HIGH ON WINS hopped slightly at the start, shifted in early on the turn from four to two wide, came out back out four deep leaving that bend but altered course inward at the three-sixteenths and ran on mildly. SARATOGA KAREN was reluctant to load, stalked the leaders four wide, was forced out by a drifting rival bumping another foe and altered back in about the three-sixteenths, did not kick on. LADAWN vied inside runners but in the two path, came up empty. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS' INQUIRY NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.
