Chart notes

COINMAKER tracked along the inside, claimed place at the three furlong pole while having many lengths to find on the leader, took aim on that foe from the five path in upper stretch, shifted to the eight path to remain outside of that drifting foe while ranging up at the furlong grounds, overhauled that rival soon after, and drew clear. HOHOHOHO opened up a wide lead around the first turn, managed that margin around the far turn, but tired in upper stretch as COINMAKER pursued, drifted outwardly while flopping back to his left lead at the furlong grounds, and succumbed to that foe approaching the final sixteenth. SNEAK PEEK settled far back along the inside, bid for show in the four path in upper stretch, claimed that position passing the three sixteenths pole, and proved best of the rest. PINK CHANNEL laid off of the pace in the two to three paths, swung tot he eight path in upper stretch, and moved up. US SECOND CUTE PIE raced in midpack two wide and between horses around the first turn, but made little impact. EPHEMERAL stalked the clear leader from the two path as that foe's closest pursuer, but tired around the far turn and, weakened through the lane. MSCHITCHATTOUR never got involved. MOON OVER TUSCANY tracked three wide, but faded around the far turn. INFINITE SOLUTIONS tracked four wide early on, but was done early, eased around the far turn, pulled up entering the lane, and was vanned off.
