Chart notes
BEARAKONTIE took a quick lead inside and rated the pace, came under pressure nearing the five sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn at the rail and was kept alert to widen. CHINA CAT rounded the first turn three wide, started a bid leaving the three eighths pole, came through the far turn off the rail then dueled through the stretch for second. MARY'S JEWEL settled off the pace about the three path, bid leaving the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn near the rail and was outfinished in the stretch duel for second. SHERIFF'S KID rounded the first turn four wide and settled off the pace from the seven eighths pole, came through the second turn three wide, bid approaching the three eighths pole then flattened stride near the rail on the far turn. AWESOME ALANA rounded the first two turns in the five path, picked up the chase nearing the three eighths pole then weakened on the far turn. DUSTWHIRL WONDER settled close for a half mile, gave chase toward the nine sixteenths pole but showed little response through the backstretch. TIZ MICHELLE'S WAY raced outside leaving the second turn and showed little response. JUST A BIT SASSY rounded the first turn about the five path, left the second turn outside and was not a factor.
