Chart notes
STORMY SPELL vied for the early lead four wide, made a three wide bid on the turn to draw clear, then drew out leaving the turn and remained well clear to prove best under a drive. QUEEN'S DREAM vied for the early lead on the inside, then fell back on the turn, then came again in the stretch to be clearly second best. NORA RADD vied for the early lead between horses, then tracked the front runner three wide by the quarter pole, then was empty in the drive, held show award. COUNTESS SHANAKILL chased the early pace on the inside, came five wide into the drive but lacked the needed winning bid in the drive. MERINO WOOL chased the early pace three wide and was six wide into the lane and had no rally.
