Chart notes
OTTOTHELEGEND had the short lead on the first turn, then chased the leader while three wide on the backstretch, rallied two wide on the far turn, gained command at the eighth pole and was held to task till the end. CLOSE TO MIDNIGHT chased the pace while three wide, was in a hard drive, passed the pace setter at the eighth pole but was out finished in the end. PINCH ASSAULT chased the pace from the inside, was in a long drive, but gave way in the stretch drive. SNIVELING was pinched back at the start, then settled along the rail, rallied three wide on the far turn to close willingly in the end. DEANOS CAPE chased the pace while three wide, bid on the far turn, then rallied mildly along the rail in the stretch but was no threat. FIRST AVENUE was unhurried early and no threat. D C HERO broke out at the start and bumped rival, then moved up three wide to gain the lead and set the pace on the backstretch, was cleared on the far turn but was used up and tired. BIG POWER RED was unhurried early, then made bid along the rail but was no menace. VIM AND VIGOR broke in at the start then bumped rival and was no factor. There was a STEWARD'S INQUIRY in regards to the start of the race. After review, there was no change made.
