Chart notes
SURPRSINGLYPERFECT raced mid pack, rallied around the turn, assumed command and drew off under urging. PERFECT WAGER was unhurried early, rallied around the turn, bid five wide, closed steadily to earn place while no match for the winner. TOP OF THE GAME broke slowly, saved ground while never far off the pace, closed inside to loom a threat and hung late. GRAY ADMIRAL assumed command on the first turn, led to the second turn, weakened and faded. PROVOST pressed the pace, challenged between horses on the turn, tired and stopped. IN THE DEEP led early, pressed the pace while racing in hand and was through after a half.
