Chart notes
CATFISH stalked two deep then challenged into the backstretch, dug in from the seven sixteenths pole and contested the far turn at a close disadvantage, took the lead mid-stretch and drew clear late yards. CHARITABLE VISIT saved ground on the first turn, bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn about the six path and steadily improved to take second the final yards. BULL MEECHUM rated a slim lead inside, was met into the backstretch and dueled at mostly even terms from the seven sixteenths pole, contested the edge nearest the rail on the far turn but was caught mid-stretch and flattened the final sixteenth. JACKLIGHTING settled off the rail on the first turn, bid nearing the three eighths pole, ran at the rail on the far turn then flattened the final sixteenth. QUID PRO QUO drifted a path and made contact with Wonder How into the first turn then settled in the three path through the turn, bid nearing the three eighths pole but flattened on the far turn. LIL TOUGHMAN settled back about the three path the first turn, raced outside into the backstretch but showed only mild response. OFFICER APPEAL raced in the three path the first turn, picked up the chase toward the three eighths pole but weakened off the rail midway on the far turn. WONDER HOW was bumped outward into the five path entering the first turn, faded past the seven sixteenths pole then not encouraged further.
