Chart notes
MANAROLA chased outside, circled rivals five wide on the turn, steadily progressed through the lane to take over later yards and raced clear nearing the wire. GOOD KARMA was hustled with the early pace then took over nearing the three eighths pole, dueled clear midway on the turn, dug in under steady stretch encouragement but was caught in the final yards and just held on for second. CHIEFS KINGDOM broke in to make contact with My Best Friend then gave chase, rounded the turn in the three and four paths, then dueled through the stretch to take the nod for third. MARIPOSA D'ORO broke outward to make contact with My Best Friend then gave chase, rounded the turn near the rail then missed the nod in the stretch duel for third. COLLEGE KID gave chase toward the outside, rounded the turn four wide and showed little in the lane. NICE N' BROAD gave chase, rounded the turn in the three path, raced evenly to late stretch then steadied late. MY BEST FRIEND was squeezed at the break then hustled along with the pace, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole but dropped back midway on the turn and weakened the final furlong.
