Chart notes
BOONDOGGLE , three deep the first turn, sprinted clear leaving the backstretch and was under intermittent urging the drive. SPEIGHTSTER RED advanced along the inner rail leaving the far turn to reach a striking position, drifted out in upper stretch and flattened out. ROCKIN RON bumped with MUSTY RED leaving the starting gate, chased the pace two wide on the far turn, was fanned four wide in upper stretch and weakened. SHANGHAIED ASTORIA , three wide on both turns, passed tired horses. TRADITION raced in the two path on the far turn and lacked a rally. MUSTY RED , bumped on both sides and pinched back leaving the starting gate, chased the pace three wide on the far turn and gave way in upper stretch. ARTILLERY was outrun. EL EQUALIZER bumped MUSTY RED at the break, showed speed along the inner rail, faltered on the far turn and was eased.
