Chart notes
MISS EMPIREMENT chased four wide the leader while four wide, made a bid on the far turn, gained command at the eighth pole, was in a hard drive dueling with a rival and was just up for the win. JERSEY HOTTIE was well placed three wide, was in a long drive, then dug in gamely in the stretch to duel with rival but was outnodded in the end. PRINCESS PAULINE settled between rivals on the backstretch, then rallied three wide on the far turn to close well in the stretch. PROUD FOOT stalked the leader from the inside, continued to bid along the rail but was squeezed in the upper stretch and weakened in the end. MARIA GONE WILD broke in and was bumped at the start, then was unhurried early, made two wide bid on the far turn but was no threat. ALL EARS set the pace while two wide, was in a long drive, but was used up entering the stretch and faltered. CHAKA broke out and bumped at the start, then shuffled back and was no menace.
