Chart notes
WILL E SUTTON was well rated three wide throughout, shifted out four wide leaving the furlong marker, closed well to edge away late under a mild drive. DUST DEVIL was serttled two wide on the backstretch, then advanced on the inside on the turn, shifted off the inside in the stretch and closed well late but was out kicked by the winner. VISUAL ARTIST vied for the early lead three wide, then dueled for command on the inside by the half mile marker, made a bid to shake clear leaving the turn, but faded late. FLAT OUT FLYING was reserved early on the inside, then eased out and advanced three wide on the turn, angled out in the drive and had a late rally. GIGGING was outrun early, advanced four to five wide on the turn and had a belated rally. BIG VENEZUELA tracked the early pace four wide, then went up to vie for command four wide on the backstretch, then was three wide on the turn and weakened final furlong. AL BROWN vied for the early lead on the inside, then pressed the pace on the backstretch and gave way on the turn. NATHAN DETROIT was allowed to settle early three wide and stopped.
