Chart notes
V. R. FRIENDLYGARY vied for the lead from the inside, dug in late and prevailed under all out pressure. TOO MANY CAPTAINS showed good early speed from the outside, raced two wide and finished gamely to the wire. FOR REEL stalked the pace along the inside, angled three wide through the upper lane and kept on to the wire. PAISANO JIM was hustled from the outisde, raced four wide around the far turn and had no final winning bid. LITTLEBIT DON raced two to three wide and never threatened. MOTRAIN dropped back early, raced along the inside and never was a factor. LUCKY LIQUOR SHOT was off slowly and never threatened.
