Chart notes
TAINO was away alertly, set the pace on the inside, pulled away on the far turn, responded when roused at the eighth pole, widened and was ridden out. THE ROBERT trailed the field, advanced on the far turn, rallied inside and closed well for second. OFF THE MEDS raced two wide off the pace, moved up inside on the far turn, finished evenly and failed to threaten. DENNARD raced off the pace inside, moved up inside on the far turn and then flattened out in the final furlong. SIGHT LINE stalked close up two wide, chased on the far turn and tired. SPRING EMPEROR stalked three wide, chased on the far turn and gave way.
