Chart notes
TRAIL DRIVER showed good early speed to set the early pace, responded well through the upper stretch and was well clear late under steady handling. SMOOTH OPERATOR was slow early on, angled five wide through the lane but was no match for the winner. DEVIL EYED DEXTER broke awkwardly, moved up four wide around the far turn and had no final winning bid. KENT'S BET settled off the early pace, raced three to four wide and had no late response. IM THE MAN NOW was coaxed along in the early stages and faded. SPECIAL FORTUNE settled off the early pace, raced five to six wide into the lane never threatened.
