Chart notes
BAYOU BOUGIE contested the pace from the start and took the nod two deep nearing the eighth pole, dueled clear of Not For Gold inside the sixteenth pole and held on under steady insistence. LADY LICIOUS broke awkwardly then gave chase, rounded the turn near the rail, dug in from the head of the lane to take second later yards and was gaining on the winner. NOT FOR GOLD contested the pace from the start, raced with the edge nearest the rail on the turn, gave up the nod toward the head of the lane, relented mid-stretch then flattened later yards. LIL MISS FIBER gave chase, rounded the turn in the five path and finished evenly outside. LA RUFINA gave chase, rounded the turn in the three and four paths then flattened inside the sixteenth pole. CITY PRINCESS gave chase inside and raced at the rail on the turn.
