Chart notes
GAVIE was soon clear to set the pace while clear, extended the margin leaving the turn, then was given one pop left handed with the riding crop by the furlong marker and drew off to prove much the best while being wrapped up the final seventy yards. GROTON ST SCOUT tracked the winner throughout, was three wide by the quarter pole and proved to be no match for the winner, second best. ALLISON K was reserved early, then was on the inside on the turn and had a belated rally to gain the show award. TIZ PROMISING RVF chased the early pace and came four wide into the drive, had no kick in the lane and lost the show award late. BRYCE'S PHILLY was off a step slow, then advanced three wide on the turn and weakened, no threat. MOSCOWS GOT TALENT was on the inside early, then was four wide by the quarter pole and had no response.
