Chart notes
TRIPLET broke readily to set the pace along the inside in the opening stages, dueled for command inside a rival racing through the turn while being headed momentarily nearing upper stretch, drifted out racing through the stretch contesting the issue with a grudging effort and edged forward in time to prevail in an all out drive. SIDNEY SUE, bumped by LUSCIOUS, then pinched back at the start, angled to the inside racing as part of the last flight to the turn, saved ground to upper stretch and produced a steady late response to gain the place honors inside the winner nearing the wire. MONEY AND HONEY, angled inwards while being urged prompting the pacesetter in the opening stages, gained even terms pressing the issue through the turn to strike the front nearing upper stretch, drifted out under pressure in the closing stages and was outkicked by the top pair. MISS LAMARR, came through close quarters at the start to track just off the leaders along the inside, saved ground on the turn, tipped off the inside racing into upper stretch, then shifted to advance four wide between foes in the closing stages while just missing for a share. LUSCIOUS, bumped by V K PRINCESS, while forced into the path of SIDNEY SUE, then squeezed between rivals at the start, was prompted to gain some position between foes racing into the turn, switched outside foes entering upper stretch, then was fanned five wide in the closing stages while continuing with interest. DONTMESSWITHTESS settled outside foes racing to the turn and failed to menace thereafter. V K PRINCESS broke inwards bumping LUSCIOUS, was righted to make brief pursuit of the leaders between foes racing to the turn and emptied out nearing upper stretch.
