Chart notes
ABI GEZUNT was away in good order to press the pace of CAUCUS RULES while racing three-wide, moved up to take command nearing the quarter, quickly opened a clear lead and held NUMEROLOGIST safe late. NUMEROLOGIST showed no early speed, raced four-wide through the turn, angled out into the stretch and rallied late. CAUCUS RULES broke sharply to dispute the early fractions with the winner from the inside and gave way after going a half. ENOUGH NONSENSE settled off the leaders early, moved four-wide through the turn and finished evenly. TRY TO CAPTURE lacked early foot, raced three-wide through the turn and was not a factor. ASCOT STORM showed no early speed, raced five-wide through the turn and did not menace.
