Chart notes
NORTH FORK lacked early speed, raced four-wide through the second turn, reached BLAME THE DEVIL nearing the three-sixteenths pole, vied with that rival and was fully extended to prevail through a hard drive. BLAME THE DEVIL stalked the leaders while racing three-wide, moved up to offer a bid nearing the five-sixteenths pole, was challenged by the winner into the lane, vied with that foe but could not hold on. BY MOONLIGHT settled off the leaders early, checked nearing the quarter, angled out into the stretch and finished evenly late. GIVE A LITTLE sprinted clear at once, saved ground while setting the pace and gave way after going three-quarters. SHAKELAS DESTINY lugged out through the first turn, showed no early speed, raced six-wide through the second turn and did not offer a bid. AUTISM SAVANT showed brief speed and weakened. BIG LARRY chased the leaders while racing four-wide and weakened after going a half.
