DEAREST KITTEN sprinted out and quickly made the lead, led throughout, widened late to win as the rider pleased MY WYNTER ECHO was well placed early, rallied in the stretch, was no match for the winner but was second best. GIRLINTHEFIREPLACE chased the winner and gradually weakened. PASATIME allowed to settle, failed to menace. OVERSTATE contended for five eights, then gave way. NATIVE VALLEY showed little and trailed.
