CHRIS AND DAVE hustled from the gate, showed the way in hand just off the inside, tucked inside through the turn and came under increasing pressure from a pair getting placed to coaxing in response with five-sixteenths to go, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, inched away under a drive to the eighth pole before coming under growing threat to the outside and was caught in the final strides to the finish while well clear of the rest. AMERICAN RULE coaxed from the start, chased four then three wide under coaxing from the three-eighths, angled five wide into upper stretch and weakened while along for the show honors. EUCHARIST coaxed from the gate, raced forwardly placed three wide down the backstretch before advancing to apply pressure just off the inside now between foes through the turn and placed to coaxing midway, spun three wide for home, got shaken off straightened away and weakened. LOKOYA ROAD broke out at the start under coaxing and was corrected, chased just off the inside until tucked inside through the turn, swung three wide into upper stretch and tired. RUNABOUT coaxed from the gate, got taken in hand briefly when losing his lane between foes seven and a half furlongs from home, chased three wide under coaxing from three furlongs out, went four wide into upper stretch and trailed throughout.
