Chart notes
STRIKING A POSE was slow early on, angled six to seven wide through the upper stretch and finished well to get up under strong handling. JEBOLOGIST showed good early speed to set the early pace, led inside the eighth pole and was wore down in the latter stages to finish second best. JACK GAVE BACK was allowed to settle early, raced four wide around the far turn and had not enough for the top pair. CHAMBO pressed the leader down the backstretch while racing two wide and gave way. LAKE NAKURU stalked the pace, raced three wide near the quarter pole and tired.
