Chart notes
AMERIPOINT was two and three wide off the early pace, moved up inside through the far turn then angled to split rivals through midstretch and rallied clear late. DANCE FOR RANSOM chased the early leader three wide, reeled that one in through the far turn into the lane but could not contain the winner late. PIERPONT sped off to a clear early lead, made all the running to upper stretch and came up empty. TICK TACK MO saved ground and lacked a final closing bid. BIG MACINTOSH moved up three wide while not a threat. JENNA'S GUN RUNNER lacked a rally racing three wide. PAPA JOE saved ground and was not a threat. SAMURAI MIKE followed the pace four wide and weakened. OPTIMAL failed to rally four wide. GREEN CARD hesitated then lunged at the break and was always back.
