Chart notes
SHE FIGURES settled back off the rail on the first turn, bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole and rounded the far turn just off the rail, angled four wide leaving the turn and dug in to get up at the wire. CAROLINA BAMBINA rated a slim lead inside, came under pressure leaving the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn near the rail, dug in to steady encouragement through the final furlong but was nipped under the wire. BOCA BIRDIE saved ground racing well back, bid nearing the seven sixteenths pole and rounded the turn in the three and four paths, eased to the outside leaving the turn and closed well to take third the final strides while gaining on the top two. DANCE LIGHTLY tapered in and stalked the pace two deep, challenged at the three eighths pole but dropped back off the rail midway on the far turn and flattened stride later yards. CHIT CHAT GIRL rated close to the early pace off the rail, picked up the chase leaving the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn about the three path then flattened inside the eighth pole. LIFE IN FLASH saved ground well back, angled out nearing the top of the lane and left the far turn widest. I AM I WILL saved ground off the pace, gave chase from the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn near the rail then weakened. The three quarter fraction was hand timed.
