Chart notes
HOLLY'S PERSUASION saved ground off the pace, bid leaving the seven sixteenths and improved in the three path of the far turn, dueled to the front past the eighth pole, raced clear mid-stretch and widened the final sixteenth. COMMCAT settled off the rail on the opening turn, bid nearing the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn about the three path and dug in to take second later yards. VICTORY ROYALE settled off the early pace toward the inside, started a three wide bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole, took the lead two deep at the quarter, was caught past the eighth pole and flattened stride. HOWSAFEAREMYCOLORS rounded the opening turn about the three path, picked up the chase nearing the three eighths pole, raced in the five path of the far turn then flattened stride. I B NASTY rated a slim lead inside, was met into the backstretch and came under pressure leaving the three eighths pole, gave up the lead at the quarter, raced at the rail on the far turn then weakened inside the eighth pole. C V'S CAMPFIRE entered the first turn about the six path and raced well back through the turn, gave chase into the backstretch, rounded the far turn at the rail and showed little in the lane. WALKIT LIKE I TALK was never a factor. CRUZ IN THE CASTLE stumbled leaving the gate then stalked two deep, raced at even terms into the backstretch and gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole, but weakened at the rail on the far turn.
