Chart notes
DECISION MAKER off a step slow, raced back while saving ground, continued inside second turn, set down into the lead, challenged inside the leader with less than a furlong remaining, proved best in determined fashion. HUNKA BURNING LOVE dueled early off the inside, showed the way after a half, headed, lost a couple of positions in the second turn, rebid from the outside late, up for the place while being oukicked for the win. TRUCULENT dueled up front closest to the inside, continued to alternate up the backstretch headed by a second rival in the second turn, regained the advantage into the lane, led late, could not contain the top two. LORD DRAGON rank into the first turn off the inside, settled early backstretch, middle move to quickly take command into the far turn when splitting the two leaders, gave way when the real running began at the head of the lane. ESKENFORIT off the pace along the inside, came up empty when called on for run in the second turn. FORT PECK remained back in failing to menace. ROBBER BARON four wide into the first turn when within striking distance, stopped after five furlongs, far back, jogged in.
