BAHAMA CHANNEL , caught in tight quarters leaving the starting gate, prompted the pace outside TITAN'S WILL down the backstretch, gained a short lead leaving the far turn, was challenged on his outside by LOST MY VOWCHER in upper stretch, floated that out when drifting out near the sixteenth pole then bumped LOST MY VOWCHER when drifting out near the finish. LOST MY VOWCHER , checked in close quarters leaving the first turn, stalked the pace down the backstretch, was three deep under urging mid way on the far turn, reached contention in mid stretch and just missed after being floated out near the sixteenth pole and bumped near the finish. TITAN'S WILL bore in leaving the starting gate, was taken to the inner rail when sprinting clear entering the first turn, set a pressured pace along the rail and weakened in the drive. UNION LEADER , along the inner rail both turns, dropped back on the far turn, swung to the four path in upper stretch and gained late. PAY THE KID trailed. Following a stewards' inquiry and an objection by the rider of LOST MY VOWCHER, BAHAMA CHANNEL was disqualified and placed second.
