LONG GRAY LINE trailed the field while saving ground, advanced between rivals on the far turn, came four wide into the lane, rallied outside rivals, dueled, gained a short lead, then dug in gamely late to prevail. BRETT'S WORLD stalked close up two wide between rivals, advanced on the far turn, rallied three wide into the stretch, bid, dueled past the furlong marker, then dug in gamely inside of LONG GRAY LINE and battled to the end. ZIPPY raced off the pace inside, saved ground on the far turn, angled out in the lane and rallied mildly. EXCURSION stalked close up three wide, bid three wide on the turn, led into the lane, dueled and weakened. COMMISSIONER G raced off the pace inside, chased the leaders on the turn, came four wide into the stretch and lacked a rally. MUCHO MACHO EDDIE vied two wide for the lead, dueled on the backside and far turn, then tired.
