Chart notes
MAIN COOL CAT stalked the pace, moved up along the inside near the quarter pole, raced three to four wide in the stretch run and drew off to be well clear under a steady hand ride. SURE WOULD FOREST showed good early speed to set the early pace from the inside, was pressured down the backstretch by Petulant Delight and was no match for the winner in the final stages. PEPE TONO was slow early, advanced around the far turn, raced four wide near the three sixteenths pole and raced along for third. CATTLE DRIVE was allowed to settle to the middle of the pack, raced widest throughout the lane and had not enough in the drive. TOP HAT TREASON was allowed to settle early, raced five to six wide through the upper stretch and never threatened. ALWAYS FORGIVEN was forced five wide around the first turn, raced back early on, was inside near the quarter pole and never threatened. PETULANT DELIGHT pressed the early leader while racing two wide and faded.
