Chart notes
POSITIVE PHIL moved to the inside and rated the pace, widened at the rail through the far turn, proved much the best and won handily. HOLIDAY BONUS raced off the pace in the two and three paths of the first turn, bid nearing the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn off the rail and settled for second best. SOUTHSIDE WARRIOR settled off the pace in the two and three paths the first turn then eased outward into the backstretch, bid toward the seven sixteenths pole and only improved his position in the three path of the far turn. LOAN ME YOUR EAR settled off the rail on the opening turn, picked up the chase from the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn about the four path and showed little more. THE IRON BANK saved early ground then gave chase from the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn about the five path and had little left. SHAMCAT stalked the early pace, gave chase into the backstretch then faded at the rail into the far turn.
