Chart notes
BOHEMIAN RUBY bumped at the start by ACALTEQUE, who broke outwards, chased just off the inside until tipped out steadily to the five path midway on the turn placed to coaxing, continued five wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive steadily gaining through to the finish and was just up in the shadow of the wire. NOVA LOVES A FIGHT five paths off the inside down the backstretch and into the turn, came under coaxing at the three-eighths and advanced to take command five-sixteenths from home, tucked in to spin just off the inside into upper stretch, edged away under a drive to the eighth pole, dug in under lone threat to the outside and was nailed in the very last stride to the finish. LORD BROWNIE chased four wide under coaxing from the three-eighths, spun three wide into upper stretch and offered up a mild kick. WICKOSITY chased three then four wide under coaxing from the three-eighths, swung four wide into upper stretch and improved position for the last major share. LUCKY MUCHO MAN broke in at the start bumping REGAL EMPIRE, crossed steadily to chase along the inside down the backstretch and then just off the inside through the turn under coaxing from the three-eighths, took the inside route into upper stretch, tired and passed foes backing away quicker then he through to the finish. JOSHUA forwardly placed two to three wide in closest aim of the leader, came under coaxing half a mile from home, retreated through the turn and went three wide at the quarter pole, then tired in the stretch. ACALTEQUE broke out at the start bumping BOHEMIAN RUBY, knocked heads briefly with a rival before establishing sole command to show the way in hand just off the inside, came under coaxing nearing the five-sixteenths and was displaced from the front at that station, continued just off the inside into upper stretch and tired. REGAL EMPIRE got bumped at the start by LUCKY MUCHO MAN, chased three to four paths off the inside down the backstretch before tucking inside through the turn, angled four to five wide into upper stretch and made no impact. DISENGAGE stumbled at the start, chased four then three wide under coaxing from the seven-sixteenths, swung four to five wide at the head of the stretch and was eased home to the finish.
