Chart notes
COMMAND THE CAT stalked the earlier pace two deep then took the lead into the backstretch, came under pressure at the three eighths pole, dueled clear of Never Compromise approaching the quarter pole and was steadily encouraged through the stretch. KING NEKIA settled off the rail the first turn, started a bid nearing the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn off the rail and finished evenly. FIRE DOWN BELOW rated close in the three path the first turn, bid nearing the three eighths pole, ran in the three path of the far turn then flattened the final furlong. EXCALIBUR saved ground off the pace on the first turn, gave chase leaving the half mile pole, came through the far turn about the three path and could only improve his position. NEVER COMPROMISE set the early pace inside, was met into the backstretch and gave close chase from that point, but dropped back approaching the quarter pole and weakened at the rail rounding the far turn. AWESOME BUZZ settled close to the early pace inside, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole then weakened at the rail on the far turn.
