Chart notes
BRUNATE tracked the pace on the outside, was given his cue in the two to three path on the turn, chased the runner-up into upper stretch then made a bid, took the lead into the final sixteenth and proved best under strong urging. TAMBURRO'S SOX was hustled to the front, showed the way with a clear advantage, raced inside to the two path around the turn, was asked turning into upper stretch, led under a drive into the final furlong, lost the advantage to the winner into the final sixteenth and was outfinished while clear for the place. MATTY'S MARAUDER was hustled from the start then urged along off the pace, went two then three wide on the turn, was driven four wide into the stretch and lacked the needed kick while able to get the show. ACTUARY (GB) chased the pace down the backstretch, dropped back while moving from the inside to the two path on the turn, spun three wide into the stretch and lacked the needed response. BLAME IT ON BRUTUS dropped back while urged along, went four wide while inside of RUN CASPER RUN on the turn then came five wide into the stretch, continued inside that foe in the drive and failed to rally. RUN CASPER RUN was off slow and spotted the front several lengths, raced at the rear while ridden along, went five wide on the turn then came six wide into the stretch and failed to threaten.
