AKINGISALWAYSKING was well placed on the inside, tipped out four wide leaving the turn, closed well to get up in deep stretch, edged away late under a drive. PORSUPUESTO vied for the early lead on the inside, made a bid to gain a short advantage leaving the turn but was outfinished late, held gamely for the place. NOT TO BLAME vied for the lead between horses and was outkicked late, missed place award. AWESOME WOLF vied for the lead four wide and weakened.
