Chart notes
SOUND MONEY two to three wide in pursuit, came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, spun three wide into upper stretch, rallied to take narrow command a furlong out, dug in to inch away through the final sixteenth to the finish. SIBELIUS hustled from the gate, prompted the leader from the outside four then three wide advancing placed to coaxing to take command three furlongs from home, angled in to spin just off the inside into upper stretch, dug in under threat and was headed a furlong out, fought on inside until shaken off in the very late stages while along well clear of the rest and second best. LIL COMMISSIONER six paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked four wide through the turn coming under coaxing at the three-eighths, swung four to five wide into upper stretch and weakened. CAPTAIN BOMBASTIC five paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked three wide through the turn and got coaxed along with seven-sixteenths to go, swung four wide at the head of the stretch and weakened. SECRET RULES showed the way in hand just off the inside under some pressure from SIBELIUS to the outside, came under coaxing near the three-eighths pole and was headed for command at that station, tucked inside at the five-sixteenths and continued along the inside route into upper stretch, then tired through to the finish.
