Chart notes
CHINA CAT settled off the rail on the first turn, bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole and closed to the front three wide approaching the top of the stretch, was steadily handled to just inside the sixteenth pole then taken in hand late. DINNER AT FIVE took the lead and angled to the inside to rate the pace, came under pressure leaving the three eighths pole, contested the edge nearest the rail on the far turn, was caught toward the top of the lane, ceded nearing mid-stretch then flattened late yards. EARNED THE SHOT raced well off the pace toward the inside, bid past the seven sixteenths pole and raced near the rail on the far turn, eased outward leaving the turn and came along to take third the final strides. SO RED THE ROSE saved ground just off the pace, picked up the chase leaving the three eighths pole and contested the far turn at a close disadvantage two deep, but dropped back into the lane and flattned the final sixteenth. SHERIFF'S KID raced off the pace about the three path, gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole, ran at the rail on the far turn and showed little more. MORALITY CLAUSE stalked off the rail then faded past the seven sixteenths pole. REIGNING FIRE raced off the pace in the three and four paths then faded through the backstretch.
