Chart notes
LA CASTIGLIONE stalked the leaders while racing four-wide, moved up to take command nearing the three-eighths marker and drew off as a handy winner. BIG STRETCH showed no early speed, raced four-wide through the second turn, angled further into the stretch, was no match for the winner but finished well to gain the place. BIG ANDY was reserved just off the leaders early, moved four-wide through the second turn and failed to gain in the drive. SUGARY was off a step slow, raced unhurried early, moved four-wide through the second turn and was not a factor. MULLIGAN sprinted clear at once, saved ground while setting the pace and weakened after going three-quarters. JUST GRACE settled off the leaders early, moved three-wide through the second turn, weakened and was eased through the lane.
