Chart notes
PENANCE settled outside, went after the pacesetter on the final turn, collared that one passing the eighth pole and edged clear late. CARMELTINI rated inside, moved wide on the final turn and closed gap. SUCCESSFUL LEGACY controlled the pace to midstretch, lost the advantage but continued gamely weakening. TAYLOR'S BELLE dropped well off the leaders then passed rivals outside. ABHAILE pursued the loose pacesetter for half a mile and gave way. MANI PEDI was urged close up inside to midway on the final turn and faded. ABSOLUTE ANNA dropped back wide and raced far back throughout. TOWSON stumbled badly at the start , raced rank briefly and trailed.
