Chart notes
SOOEY'S PRINCESS contested the pace from the start, held the advantage at the rail rounding the turn and was steadily encouraged to hold on. BREADMAN'S ROSEBUD chased inside, raced at the rail on the turn and factored to the finish. IN THE NEWS was bumped lightly at the break and gave close chase, rounded the turn in the three path then flattened inside the eighth pole. MEDAL GENIUS came in at the break and made light contact with In The News then chased outside, rounded the turn in the four path and ran evenly through the lane. NOT FOR ME raced well back saving ground and could only close the gap.
