I KICKN was carried out by IMTAKINITTIOTHEBANK racing past the gap, recovered quickly to track that rival inside foes on the backstretch, readily advance to bid for command between foes entering the bend, edged forward racing into upper stretch and held sway on a narrow margin under some right handed encouragement. HOT AND HEAVY was steadied out of tight quarters racing through the gap, was righted to track just off the pacesetter between foes through the backstretch, continued with a steady effort in the three path pursuing the winner to late stages but proved only second best. OPTIMAL COURAGE tracked the pacesetter outside foes in second flight, lost some position racing into the turn but continued with a steady effort four wide between foes into the lane to prevail for a share. DOODLE HOPPER was settled outside a rival in the last flight on the backstretch, angled out five wide racing into upper stretch and continued with interest while being outkicked for a share. WILD WINTER settled along the inside in early stages, saved ground on the turn, then tipped out to race between foes in the stretch but offered no rally. IMTAKINITTOTHEBANK swerved out leaving the gap crossing into the path of the eventual winner while being urged to gain the lead, opened a brief advantage on the backstretch, dueled inside the winner on the turn and gave way after a half. RUMPOLE WAS SCRATCHED AFTER THE POST PARADE, NECESSITATING THE CALCULATION OF A CONSOLATION DAILY DOUBLE.
